Seed Space, Track One and The Rymer Gallery present Deep Play Fun House, a juried exhibition and installation of videoart works in the expansive Track One warehouse. As an immersive video and sound environment, the viewer defines the narrative sequence by negotiating labyrinthine pathways in a large, formerly industrial environment alongside live sound performances for a one night event on Halloween.
Just as artists have historically taken advantage of the lack of fixed meaning in industrial spaces to transgressive and playful ends, Deep Play Fun House will be an opportunity for artists to address the blurred boundary between rural and urban, past and present, memory, desire, and sense of place.
Exhibition will include works by: Willie Stewart, Patrick Stefaniak, Christine Rogers, Sarah Schneider, Allison Baker, YunTing Tsai, Matt Christy, Jeffrey Williams, Michael Carter, Mandy Cano Villalobos, Allyson Page Patterson, Robert Uehlin + Rosanna Yerke, Adam Henry, John Warren, Casey Pierce, Rbt. Sps. and Jillian McManemin, Trevor Amery, Morgan Mandalay, and Robert Spees.
